We all have those ‘friends’ that say, “You can count on me.” Or, “I’m here for you if you need ANYTHING.” But every time that trouble arises or a helping hand would be appreciated they are no where to be found.

And at times we play the role of that ‘friend’. Making the same hollowed out promises we never seem to keep. Never feels right on either side of the fence.

I’m excited for the day when people can look at us and know that our word is our bond. When we say that we’re here for support, I pray that there would never be a second guess to whether or not we would follow through with what we spoke.

When the world can look to the Church and know for a fact that they can depend on us..they won’t have an excuse to not believe that God will be there for them.

“People won’t see God if they can’t first see Jesus inside of us.”
